Kashi or Varanashi has a history of thousands of years, the city has been the oldest in the Indian subcontinent. Lord Buddha came here to give his first sermon in Sarnath deer park. The most eloquent and brilliant scholar of Indian history either lives here or has visited here. Kashi has been the seat of learning, alsp important trade center.
